Welcome to First Tee

As we enter the season of gratitude and giving, I want to take a moment on behalf of our Board and dedicated team to wish you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving and a meaningful holiday season.

We are incredibly thankful for your continued belief in First Tee and your support of our mission to positively impact the lives of young people through character education and the game of golf. It is because of you, our parents, volunteers, community and course partners, donors, and participants, that we are able to do what we do.

Over the past several months, we’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure our chapter is not just growing, but thriving. We’ve made significant operational changes designed to strengthen our foundation and prepare us for bold new growth. We are expanding our Board of Directors who are intentionally focused on sustained leadership who will guide us into the future.

Importantly, we’ve reinforced and deepened our relationships with nonprofit partners who share our vision for youth development, organizations like Newtown Connection, Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, Girls Inc., and Palmetto Youth Center. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected and resilient community.

As CEO, it is truly an honor to serve this organization. I can tell you that the greatest reward comes not only from the milestones we have achieved but from witnessing our youth flourish in confidence, character, and leadership.

Whether you are making a donation through Giving Tuesday on December 2, participating and supporting our Fore the Kids event on January 11 and 12, or giving in so many other ways, thank you for being part of this journey. We’re excited for what’s next, and grateful to have you join us on the amazing road ahead.
